Comments:
I wanted a frame that would accommodate wider tires and a frame that was a bit more forgiving but, hopefully, wouldn't give up any acceleration or handling. I found a pretty good example of that in this frame. Super comfortable, excellent handling, and easy to build up. Previous frame was a $5k deal that was one of the lightest in 2012 when it was new. This mid-level model only added about 240 grams with no perceived different in acceleration or climbing. In fact, I did my fastest 50 miles ever on this frame at nearly 26 mph so it does the job just fine for my enthusiast (middle aged, over weight) skill set. Worth a look for sure if you want a really good all around frame at a reasonable price.
